Learning Challenge Curriculum
Website Build
Focus Eduction is an organisation which provides support and advice to schools and academies. One of the ways they provide this support and advice is by writing and publishing books for the educational sector. Rather than publish the Learning Challenge Curriculum as a book, they opted to take it online, providing the information through a subscription based website.
The advantage making the content available via a website is that the content can be updated and added to on a regular basis. It also offers the ability for subscribers to contribute their own documents, photos and videos to show how they are using the curriculum in the classroom.
I built the website, setting up a CMS, making it easy for Focus to update and manage the website content in-house. This was a collaborative project between myself and Liz Dargan of Brand Creative. I was responsible for wireframes, HTML, Flash and the CMS.
